1. To encourage full-time foreign faculty members to improve their Chinese language skills, the Office of Human Resources, in collaboration with the Mandarin Training Center, offers the following subsidies.

• Eligibility:

Regular, full-time faculty members, technical personnel, project-based teachers, and contractual teachers who are not citizens of the ROC , as well as full-time foreign faculty members who have been naturalized as citizens of the ROC.

• Types of Subsidies:

First-time applicants will receive a full subsidy for one period of fees (Tuition fee: NT$7000). The Returning applicants will receive a 20% discount (Tuition fee: NT$5720).

• Application Process:

The application form shall be completed (Table 1) and submitted to the employing department and the Office of Human Resources for review and verification before forwarding to the university President for approval. After submitting the application, the Mandarin Training Center will assist in creating an account and placing the order for applicants. Please do not make the payment yourself.

• Courses:

Due to Industry-Academia Collaboration Project Personnel Management System upgrade, case applications will be suspended on November 21, 2024.
